Pseudobulbs usually set close together on a slender rhizome, 1-leafed, up to 12 × 10 mm, ovoid or ± orbicular, shiny green tinged with purple-maroon.
Lip fleshy, recurved, 1.2–4 × 0.7–2 mm, ovate, rounded at the apex, auriculate at the base; margin hairy; upper surface with median slit.
Dorsal sepal 3–6 × 1–2 mm, ovate, acute; lateral sepals 3–6 × 0.8–3 mm, acute or acuminate, slightly recurved.
Inflorescence erect, 5–10(30) cm long, c. 12-flowered; peduncle and rhachis wiry.
Flowers pale green with or without red markings, or entirely red or purple.
Flowers greenish-white, the sepals tipped with purple-pink.
Leaves 15–50 × 7–10 mm, narrowly oblong, acute or obtuse.
Petals c. 2 × 1 mm, oblong-elliptic, acute or rounded.
Column 1–2 mm long, including stelidia 0.3–1 mm long.
Pedicel and ovary 2 mm long.
Dwarf epiphytic herb.
