Characteristics

Plants sparse, attached by base and forming pendulous clumps. Stems unbranched or very sparsely branched, 100–200 mm long, with brown bracts. Pseudobulbs well-spaced, 8–12 × 2.5–3.5 mm, pale green to dark green, naked. Leaves sessile, 20–80 × 6–14 mm, fleshy, broadly and shallowly grooved, pale green to dark green. Flowers usually single; stems 2–3 mm long; flowers 5.5–9.5 × 3–4 mm, cream to white with yellow tips or wholly yellowish. Sepals and petals fleshy, tips of sepals drawn out into elongated fleshy points. Dorsal sepal 5–7 × 1–1.5 mm. Lateral sepals 5–7 × 1–1.5 mm. Petals c. 2 × 1.3 mm. Labellum c. 2.2 × 1.8 mm, red to brown or orange, strongly 3-lobed, sharply curved in upper half, margins folded, glabrous, apex recurved.
