Characteristics

Plants forming dense, spreading clumps, sometimes large. Pseudobulbs well spaced, ovoid to conical, 8–15 × 8–12 mm, grooved or ribbed. Leaves erect, 40–70 × 8–12 mm, stiff, dark green. Racemes with wiry stems 50–90 mm long, 1–8-flowered. Flowers bell-shaped, 4–6 × 4–5 mm, white, cream or greenish, rarely pink, dorsal sepal and petals sometimes with red stripes. Dorsal sepal hooded, 5–7 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals triangular, 5–7 × 3–4 mm, 3-nerved. Petals 3–3.5 × 1.5 mm. Labellum c. 5 × 1.5 mm, curved, fleshy, sparsely hairy.
