Characteristics

Leaf withered at flowering time, 20–40 × 4–6 mm, ovate-elliptical, dark green suffused with red above, dark red beneath. Flower stem 120–180 mm, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 20–25 × 9–12 mm, yellowish green with reddish suffusions, labellum pale reddish with black calli. Dorsal sepal 12–13 × 1–1.5 mm. Lateral sepals 13–15 × 1 mm, kinked towards apex. Petals 13–15 × 0.5 mm. Labellum obliquely erect when set; labellum strap 4–5 × 3–3.5 mm; labellum lamina flat in side view, broadly flask-shaped from above, 12–14 × 4–5 mm, widest just above base then tapered, apical third with more or less parallel margins, densely covered with shiny black calli; basal lobe blunt or nearly truncate, projected back in same plane as labellum. Column 10–12 mm long.
