Caleana gracilicordata (Hopper & A.P.Br.) M.A.Clem.

Leaf often withered at flowering time, 15–20 × 3–4 mm, narrowly cordate, dark green suffused with red above, dark red beneath. Flower stem 55–70 mm, 1-flowered. Flowers 18–20 × 7–8 mm, yellowish green with reddish suffusions, labellum pale reddish with black calli. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 1 mm. Lateral sepals 8–10 × 1 mm, kinked towards apex. Petals 8–10 × 0.5mm. Labellum obliquely erect when set; labellum strap 3–4 × 2.5 mm; labellum lamina flat in side view, flask-shaped from above, 7–9 × 3–4 mm, widest just above base then tapered, apical third to fifth densely covered with shiny black calli; basal lobe pointed, recurved at sharp angle to labellum. Column 9–10 mm long.

An uncommon species known from about seven populations occurring on individual granite outcrops; found growing in thin layers of moss and lichen on rock surfaces.
