Characteristics

Leaf withered at flowering time, 10–20 × 2–4 mm, broadly ovate-elliptical, dark green suffused with red above, dark red beneath. Flower stem 40–70 mm, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 20–25 × 8–10 mm, yellowish green with reddish suffusions, labellum yellowish or pale reddish with black calli. Dorsal sepal 10–12 × 1–1.5 mm. Lateral sepals 10–11 × 1–1.5 mm, kinked towards apex. Petals 10–12 × 1 mm. Labellum horizontal to below horizontal when set; labellum strap 6–8 × 3–4 mm; labellum lamina flat in side view, broadly flask-shaped from above, 10–11 × 4–5 mm, widest just above base then tapered, apical third densely covered with shiny black calli; basal lobe pointed, recurved at an angle to plane of labellum. Column 9–11 mm long.
