Characteristics

Shrub or subshrub to 2 m high. Bark smooth. Stems 6-angular. Stipules absent. Leaves linear to linear-lanceolate, 1–46 mm long, 0.4–2 mm wide, eglandular. Involucres campanulate, 1.5–3.5 mm long, 1.7‑3 mm diam.; lobes triangular, 1–2.2 mm long, 0.8–2 mm wide, entire, longer than glands; glands ellipsoid-spherical, 0.5–1 mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm wide, clearly visible between lobes and inserted on involucre at same level as lobes. Male flowers in clusters of 5–14 anthers 0.4–0.6 mm long, 0.7–0.8 mm wide. Fruit ± oblong, 6–7 mm long, 5–6 mm diam. Seeds oblong, 4–4.5 mm long, 2.2–3.2 mm wide.
