Characteristics

Shrub or subshrub to 1.5 m high. Bark smooth. Stems rounded-cylindrical. Stipules absent. Leaves linear, 5–25 mm long, 0.7–0.9 mm wide, with 1 or 2 small sessile glands near base. Involucres short-campanulate, 2–3 mm long, 4.5–5 mm diam.; lobes triangular-truncate, 1.5–2.5 mm long, 2.6–3.2 mm wide, entire, longer than glands; glands ellipsoid-spherical, 0.8–1.2 mm long, 0.9–1.3 mm wide, clearly visible between lobes and inserted on involucre at same level as lobes. Male flowers in clusters of 3–7; anthers 1.4–1.5 mm long, c. 1.8 mm wide. Fruit globose-oblong, 6–8 mm long, 6–6.6 mm diam. Seeds oblong, 3.5–4.6 mm long, 2.3–2.5 mm wide.
