Characteristics

Shrubs to 1 m tall. Branches yellowish brown; branchlets pale brown. Leaves digitate, 4-foliolate; petiole 0.7-1.3 cm and persistent on long branchlets, persistent or caducous on short branchlets; leaflet blades obovate to obovate-cuneate, 4-6 × 2-3 mm, glabrous or pubescent, apex acute. Flowers solitary. Pedicel 2-5 mm, articulate basally. Calyx tube tubular, 6-8 mm. Corolla yellow; standard obovate, 1.7-2.2 cm, claw 1/3-1/2 as long as limb, apex obtuse; wings linear-oblong, claw more than 1/2 as long as limb, auricle 1/5-1/4 as long as claw; keel with claw shorter than limb, auricle very short. Ovary glabrous. Leg­ume 3-4.5 cm × 4-6 mm. Fl. May, fr. Jul.
