Origin: in Miami, Fla., by Bronson Bayliss. Introd. about 1934. Parentage unknown; selected about 1933. Tree: semi­dwarf. Variety now obsolete. Fruit: rounded-oblong, 2-3 lb; flesh 3/4 inch thick; excellent dessert quality; rind and pulp soft, not a good shipper.
