Characteristics

Plants erect, to 340 mm; basal leaves numerous, narrowly linear or lanceolate, canaliculate, acute, to 40 x 2 mm, cauline leaves lax, linear-lanceolate, to 30 mm long. Inflorescences lax, to 110 mm long, 1-9-flowered, bracts broadly ovate, acute. Flowers c. 24 x 18 mm, sepals green, petals and lip yellow; ovary 15-20 mm long. Sepals acute; median narrowly lanceolate, 10-12 x 3-5 mm; lateral sepals narrowly ovate, 11-13 x 5-8 mm. Petals obliquely-obovate, outer margin cre-nate-erose, 10-12 x 6-7 mm. Lip 6-9 x 10-12 mm, spathulate-lunate, with 2 broad, divergent, obtuse apical lobes 2-3 mm wide; blade 5x6 mm with a median, fleshy, 3x2 mm callus; appendage a pair of horns, 6-9 mm tall. Stigma lobes oblong, pul-vinate, at the base of the rostellar arms; lateral rostellum lobes divergent, c. 8 mm long, curving around base of the lip appendage, holding the terminal viscidia.
