Characteristics

Plants erect, fairly robust, to 430 mm tall; basal leaves numerous or reduced to fibrous remnants, cauline leaves numerous, linear to narrowly triangular, to 80 x 6 mm, margins and lower surface of midvein with minute hairs. Inflorescences corymbose, to c. 70 mm long; bracts triangular, acute, fringed with minute, subequal hairs. Flowers numerous, not resupinate, c. 30 x 10 mm, sepals pale green, petals and lip orange-yellow flushed with red. Median sepal narrowly lanceolate, acute, adnate to petals, c. 11-12 x 3-4 mm; lateral sepals erect, oblique, concave, c. 10-12 x 5-6 mm. Petals obliquely deltate-spathulate, concave, obtuse, c. 12-14 x 7-8 mm. Lip erect, spathulate-cordate, 6-8 x 8-10 mm; blade short and narrow, c. 9 mm across, shallowly concave, lobes rounded. Stigma lobes ovate, pulvinate, c. 1 mm across; rostellum arms c. 6 mm long.
