Characteristics

Plants erect, to 260 mm tall; basal leaves few to many, varying from linear to spathulate, acute, to 60 x 6 mm, cauline leaves narrowly lanceolate, acute, to 70 x 5 mm. Inflorescences dense, slender, to 180 mm long; bracts triangular, acute, to 15 x 5 mm. Flowers numerous, resupinate, c. 14 x 6 mm, sepals green, petals and lip white veined pink, lip with a green basal process, lip appendage white and pink; strongly sweet-scented; ovary c. 10 mm. Median sepal elliptic, acute, c. 4-6 x 2 mm; lateral sepals narrowly ovate, acute, c. 7 x 2-4 mm. Petals obdeltate to spathulate, apically crenulate-erose, c. 6 mm x 5 mm. Lip quadrate to deltate or rounded, crenulate, c. 5 x 7 mm; lip appendage a pair of erect, laterally flattened, rounded horns 4-5 mm tall. Lateral rostellum lobes c. 5 mm long, curving around base of the horns of the lip appendage.
