Flowers in ± many-flowered panicles, very often galled; peduncles 1.3–2 cm. long; secondary peduncles 0.5–1.2 cm. long; pedicels obsolete.. Buds with the limb-appendages projecting.. Calyx-tube oblong, 1.2 mm. long; limb-tube 0.5 mm. long; lobes triangular, 0.2–1 mm. long.. Corolla white, pink or reddish pink, glabrous; tube 1.1–1.4 cm. long; lobes triangular, 3 mm. long, 1.6 mm. wide, with a distinct apical lateral rounded or triangular appendage outside 1–2 mm. long.. Anthers exserted, the bases just below the throat in short-styled flowers; tips just included in long-styled flowers..
