Low, decumbent, straggling plant about 10-25 cm. high. Stems thinly to densely silky-hairy. Leaves linear to lanceolate, ascending when young, later spreading, rather densely arranged along stems, 4-15(17) x 1-3 mm, acute at apex more or less densely appressed-silky on both surfaces. Flowers yellowish-green, 1.5-2 mm in diam., densely silky-hairy outside. Fruiting perianth c. 3-5 mm in diam. Seed ellipsoid, c. 2-2.2 x 1.5-1.8 mm brownish-black.
