Characteristics

Annual herb, up to 2 m high; greyish. Stems procumbent. Leaves petiolate; blade triangular, 10-20 x 6-15 mm, margins hastate with rounded angles, mucronate, glabrous to densely farinose, upper leaves close together; petioles as long as blade. Flowers: in dense, terminal panicles; perianth fleshy, green; Nov.-Sep. Seeds with radial furrows and irregular scarred pits.

Leaves up to 2.5 x 2.3 mm, rhombic to ovate, entire with 2 flaring, basal lobes, densely grey-farinose beneath. Inflorescences terminal and axillary, leafy with small clusters. Sepals 5, not keeled.
