Characteristics

An evergreen tree. It grows 5-12 m high. The crown is dense and very branched. The trunk is short and grooved. It is 25-45 cm across. The leaves are spaced and alternate. Leaves are oval and 4-11 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The flowers occur singly or in groups of 2-4 in the axils of leaves. The fruit is oval with a fleshy pulp.
