Characteristics

An evergreen tree. It grows 7-16 m tall. The crown is dense and the branches hang down slightly. The trunk is short and slightly grooved and 25-35 cm across. The leaves are simple and 8-19 cm long by 3-7 cm wide. There are 2-10 flowers in a group in the axils of the leaves. The fruit is oval and has a sweet pulp and one seed.
