Inflorescences terminal, paniculate, to 40 cm; bracts narrowly ovate, apex acute. Flowers globose in bud. Pedicel 1.5-3 mm. Sepals ovate, ca. 1 mm. Petals 2-3 mm. Stamens 10. Fruit orange, ellipsoid, ca. 3 × 2 cm, 1-or 2-seeded. Fl. Jun, fr. Sep-Oct.
