Leaves pinnate with usually 5 leaflets, much reduced in association with the inflorescences; leaflets ovate to broadly or elongate ovate, not lobed or slightly trilobed, acute to slightly acuminate, base cordate or rounded, dentate-crenate, covered, often densely, with pale rusty or golden hairs on lower surface at least in younger leaves, with scattered hairs or glabrescent on upper surface.. Inflorescences with 3–7 flowers; pedicels 3.5–5 cm. long; flower buds broadly ellipsoid, with yellow indumentum.. Sepals 1.5–2.5 cm. long, cream.
