Characteristics

Fruticulus 0.3-1 m altus adscendens vel erectus ramosus. Rami et ramuli dense murino-pilosi, internodiis 5-10 mm longis; ramuli abbreviati 2-10 mm longi. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens 1-2 mm longa fusca glabra vel minutissime pilosa, stipulis 1-2 mm longis subuliformibus acutis; foliola inter se similia 5-12 mm longa ad 1 mm lata acuminata supra plana-concavula subtus rotundato-carinata integerrima glabra. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae 3-4 mm longae cuspidatae fuscae scariosae glabrae; sepala 3 c. 4 mm longa 2-2.2 mm lata ovata-obovata mucronata obscure nervosa viridia extus saepissime ± rubiginosa; stamina 12, antheris 0.8 mm, filamentis 3-4 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 3-4 mm longae late amplectentes scariosae glabrae; receptaculum 2-3.5 mm longum ovoideum, costis 12 exiguis, primo ferrugineum deinde atratum-piceum glabrum; achenium ad 2.8 mm longum ovoideo-oblongum; sepala 3, 2-3 mm longa cernua acuminata glabra; stigma c. 2 mm e receptaculo prominens valde ramosum rubiginosum.
