Characteristics

Frutex c. 2-pedalis (e Pillans) valde ramosus. Rami et ramuli glabri-parce pilosuli, cortice cinereo denique deciduo; ramuli abbreviati 1-3 mm longi dense foliati. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina 0.5-1 mm longa amplectens glabra, stipulis 0.3-0.6 mm longis subulatis; foliola 2-3.5 mm longa 0.4-0.5 mm crassa. subuliformia brevissime mucronulata supra plana-concavula subtus rotundato-carinata glabra. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae 1.5-1.8 mm longae lanceolatae subcarinatae glabrae; sepala 3 rarissime 4 c. 2.5 mm longa obovato-oblonga subacuta glabra; stamina 6, antheris 0.5-0.6 mm, filamentis 2.5-3 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae ut in [male]; receptaculum 3 mm longum sphaericum nitidulum fulvum-croceum enervosum glabrum; sepala 3 vel 4, 0.8-1 mm longa spathulato-obovata patentia vel receptaculo adpressa; stigma c. 1 mm e receptaculo prominens valde ramosum densum rubiginosum.
