Characteristics

Fruticulus ad 3 dm altus. Rami et ramuli erecto-patentes murini-fusci glabri nitiduli, cortice paulatim rimoso cinereo-nigricante, internodiis 2-3 mm longis: ramuli abbreviati brevissimi 3-5-foliati. Folia simplicia; vagina c. 0.5 mm longa amplectens intus parce et breviter pilosa extus glabra, stipulis 0.1-0.2 mm longis triangularibus acutis; lamina 1.5-2 mm longa 0.5-0.7 mm lata glabra nitidula, marginibus revolutis et breviter ciliatis. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 1 mm longae scariosae amplectentes acutae glabrae; sepala 4 oblongo-obovata 1.8-2 mm longa 0.8-1 mm lata primo fulva deinde rufescentia acuta glabra; stamina 4 saepe 1-2 minora et sterilia, antheris fertilibus 0.5-0.6 mm, filamentis 2.5 mm longis, antheris sterilibus 0.2-0.3 mm et filamentis 1.5 mm longis. Flores [female] brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae fere ut in [male]; receptaculum 4-costatum, costis duabus majoribus, duabus minoribus, 1.8 mm longum 0.9 mm crassum spadiceum glabrum; sepala et stigma ignota.
