Characteristics

Frutex ramosissimus erectus. Rami et ramuli erecti glabri, internodiis 5-10 mm longis; ramuli abbreviati 3-5 mm longi dense foliati. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina 1.5-3 mm longa amplectens glabra, stipulis 1.5 mm longis acuminatis; foliola 15-20 mm longa subulata mucronata glabra supra plana-concavula subtus rotundato-carinata, marginibus minutissime denticulatis. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae lanceolatae acuminatae 4-6 mm longae scariosae; sepala 3, 5-6 mm longa oblongo-ovata-ovata mucronata; stamina 12, antheris c. 1 mm, filamentis 4-5 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae amplectentes 5-7 mm longae cochleariformes subulatae glabrae; receptaculum ad 6 mm longum ovoideum leviter costatum glabrum; sepala 3 c. 2 mm longa, basibus connatis, ovato-triangularia acuta incrassata erecta; stigma e receptaculo c. 1 mm prominens ramosum.
