Characteristics

Fruticulus; rami et ramuli juniores sal dense canescenti-pilosi vel prope glabri; ramuli abbreviati 2-3 mm interdum ad 10 mm longi. Folia simplicia; vagina ca. 1 mm longa amplectens glabra vel breviter et sparse pilosa; stipulae anguste triangulares breves ad 0.5 mm longae; lamina 6-12 mm longa 1-2 vel raro ad 3 mm lata integra vel interdum utroque latere sub apice dente munita dura glabra marginibus inflexa dorso multinervosa, nervis saepe versus apicem evanescentibus. Flores [male] sessiles vel brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae ca. 4 mm longae amplectentes cuspidatae glabrae; sepala 3 ca. 4 mm longa 1.5 mm lata oblongo-lanceolata acuta-acuminata; stamina 7-8; filamenta ca. 6 mm longa; antherae ovoideae l mm longae. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 2.5-3 mm longae ceterum ut in [male]; receptaculum 3 mm longum 1.3 mm crassum ovoideo-oblongum prominenter costatum brunneum; sepala 3 ca. 2 mm longa acuta-subacuta reflexa; stigma 2-3 mm longum.
