Characteristics

Fruticulus, stirpe 1-2 ped. longa (ex Harvey, 1. c.) decumbente sparse ramosa, ramulis filiformibus adpresse pilosis. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens 0.5-1 mm longa extus parce pilosa stipulis ad 2 mm longis cuspidatis ciliolatis praedita; foliolum medium 4-5 mm longum 3-4.5 mm latum obcordato-cuneatum-cuneatum apice 3-5-dentato-lobatum tenue supra viride subtus glaucescens glabrum; foliola lateralia 4-5 mm longa 2-4 mm lata cuneata-oblonga saepissime 3-dentata interdum integerrima ceterum ut foliolum medium. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 2 mm longae amplectentes acutae ciliatae; sepala 4 lanceolata 4.5-5 mm longa acuminata 1-3-nervosa glabra; stamina 8, antheris lilacinis c. 1 mm, filamentis 5-6 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 1-1.5 mm longae acuminatae ciliolatae; receptaculum 1.8-2.2 mm longum 1.3-1.5 mm crassum ovoideum leviter bisulcatum fuscum glabrum; achenia 1.2-1.6 mm longa oblique fusiformia; sepala 4 c. 2 mm longa cuspidata primo patentia deinde reflexa glabra; styli 2, stigmatibus e receptaculo 1.5-2 mm prominentibus densis ferrugineis.
