Frutex ad 3-pedalis (e Levyns) dense ramosus, ramis erecto-patentibus internodiis 0.5-1 cm longis et cortice in partibus junioribus canescenti-piloso praeditis; ramuli abbreviati 3-8 mm longi dense foliati. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens 0.8-2 mm longa, marginibus connatis, margine superiore ciliato; stipulae 0.5-2 mm longae triangulares-anguste triangulares acutae, marginibus saepe breviter ciliolatis; foliola 8-12 mm longa 0.6-1.5 mm lata linearia integra pungenti-mucronata supra leviter canaliculata viridia nitida glabra subtus nervo mediano prominente obtuse carinata glaucescenti-viridia opaca dense verruculosa parce pilis longis albis vestita. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae 2.5-3 mm longae lanceolatae acutae, nervo mediano dense piloso; sepala 3 c. 5 mm longa 2.5-3 mm lata ovata acuta glabra vel parte superiore exteriore parce pilosa intus sub apice area parva dense papillosa; stamina 12, antheris rubro-violaceis c. 1 mm, filamentis ad 6 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 3-3.5 mm longae amplectentes ovatae acutae, nervo mediano dense piloso; receptaculum maturum 2.5-3 mm longum 1.2-1.5 mm crassum ovoideum c. 12-costatum, costis dorsis rotundatis, rufescenti-nigrum nitidulum; sepala 3 c. 3 mm longa 1 mm lata apicem versus sensim angustata acuta glabra intus sub apice area parva dense papillosa; achenium ad 2.2 mm longum oblongum; stigma c. 6 mm e receptaculo prominens ramosissimum ferrugineum.
