Folia simplicia; vagina 1-1.5 mm longa amplectens, marginibus connatis, scariosa glabra, stipulis 0.5 mm longis acuminatis; lamina 5-7 mm longa 0.4-0.6 mm lata linearis acuta supra plana subtus convexa marginibus minutissime denticulata glabra. Flores [male] ignoti. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 4-5 mm longae amplectentes ferrugineae scariosae acutae glabrae; receptaculum c. 2.5 mm longum 0.7-0.8 mm crassum cylindricum brunneum glabrum; sepala 3 erecta 2-2.5 mm longa marginibus cohaerentia subcoriacea acuta glabra. Stigma breve rubrum.
