Characteristics

Frutex 2-3-pedalis (e Harvey) erectus. Rami et ramuli graciles cinerei-fusci laeves glabri; ramuli abbreviati brevissimi 2-5-foliati. Folia simplicia; vagina amplectens 0.7-1.5 mm longa intus dense fumoso-pilosa ciliata extus glabra, stipulis triangularibus 0.3-0.5 mm longis; lamina brevissime petiolata 4-5 mm longa obtusa supra glabra subtus pilosula, marginibus revolutis integris. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae amplectentes 0.5-0.6 mm longae acutae scariosae glabrae; sepala 4 (raro 3) c. 2 mm longa 1 mm lata obovata mucronulata glabra 3-nervosa; stamina 4 vel raro 3, antheris 0.4 mm, filamentis 3-3.5 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 0.6-0.8 mm longae amplectentes scariosae extus parce pilosae acutae; receptaculum 2-2.5 mm longum 1-1.2 mm crassum ovoideo-oblongum fuscum nitidulum glabrum 4-costatum, costis duabus majoribus dorsis rotundatis, duabus minoribus dorsis acutis; sepala 4 fugacea 0.8 mm longa lanceolata semipel-lucida glabra; stigma e receptaculo 0.5-0.6 mm prominens ramosum rubrum.
