Characteristics

Frutex 2-3-pedalis (ex Harvey, 1. c.) erectus. Rami et ramuli primo murino-fusco-villosi, internodiis 0.5-1 cm longis; ramuli abbreviati 2-4 mm longi. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina 1-2 mm longa amplectens dense patentim pilosa ciliata, stipulis triangularibus 0.6-0.8 mm longis acutis; foliola 4.5-7(-10) mm longa 1-1.4 mm lata coriacea basin versus sensim angustata, marginibus revolutis, parce-dense patentim canescenti-pilosa obtusa. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae 3.5-4 mm longae lineares acutae longe ciliatae, nervo mediano piloso; sepala 3 c. 5 mm longa 1.8-2 mm lata oblonga, basibus breviter connatis, extus sub apice pilosa; stamina 6, antheris 0.8 mm, filamentis 6-8 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae 2-3 mm longae ceterum ut in [male]; receptaculum 2-2.5 mm longum 0.7-0.8 mm crassum subcylindricum basin versus angustatum 12-costatum fuscum glabrum; sepala 3 oblongo-lanceolata 1.5-2 mm longa obtusa extus sub apice pilosula; stigma e receptaculo 4-4.5 mm prominens densum rubiginosum.
