Characteristics

Frutex c. 1.5 m altus (e Galpin). Rami et ramuli cortice ferrugineo glabro internodiis c. 1 cm longis instructi; ramuli abbreviati 3-10 mm longi. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina 0.4-0.8 mm longa amplectens glabra, stipulis minutissimis; foliolum medium 4-6 mm longum 1.5-4 mm latum obovatum-lanceolatum coriaceum mucronatum integerrimum glaucum glabrum ± obscure nervosum; foliola lateralia 4-7 mm longa 1-3 mm lata oblique oblongo-obovata-oblonga ceterum ut fol. med. figurata. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 1.5 mm longae amplectentes subacutae glabrae; sepala 3 c. 5 mm longa 3 mm lata ovata acuta, apice reflexo, glabra; stamina 15, antheris fuscis c. 1 mm, filamentis 6-8 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles, bracteolis ut in [male]; receptaculum (immaturum) 1.5 mm longum ovoideum 6-costatum fuscum glabrum; sepala 3 c. 2 mm longa oblonga acuta glabra; stigma e receptaculo 5-6 mm prominens ramosissimum rubrum.
