Characteristics

Fruticulus; rami et ramuli dense canescenti-pilosi; ramuli abbreviati 1-3 mm longi. Folia trifoliolata; vagina amplectens, marginibus connatis, 0.6-1 mm longa extus tenuiter pilosula, stipulis parvis 0.3-0.5 mm longis triangularibus scariosis tenuiter ciliolatis; foliola inter se similia 2-2.5 mm longa 0.5-0.7 mm lata oblongo-lanceolata acuta integerrima parce adpresse pilosula vel fere glabra, nervo mediano subtus crasso et prominente. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae late amplectentes 2 mm longae acutae carinatae, carina tenuiter pilosula; sepala 3 ovata 3.5-4 mm longa 1.8-2.2 mm lata concava acuta extus parce pilosula vel fere glabra; stamina 6, antheris 0.9-1 mm longis fuscis, filamentis 2.5-3.5 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles, bracteolae 2.5-3 mm longae ceterum prope ut in [male]; receptaculum (immaturum!) 2.8-3 mm longum 0.8 mm latum fusiformi-cylindricum 3-cristatum, cristis ad receptaculum inclinatis, parce pilosulum badium; sepala 3 c. 2 mm longa 1 mm lata ovata acuta glabra; stylus et stigma ignotum.
