Frutex 0.5-1.5 mm altus. Rami ferruginei-rubiginosi glabri vel pilosuli. Folia simplicia; vagina amplectens c. 2 mm longa scariosa ferruginea-rubiginosa glabra, stipulis triangularibus 1-2(-3) mm longis acuminatis; lamina ± coriacea 1.5-2.5 cm longa 1-2 cm lata oblonga-ovata-fere rotundata supra viridis saepe nitidula subtus glaucescenti-viridis opaca, marginibus plerumque tantum in parte dimidia superiore (3-)5-9(-11)-triangulari-dentatis saepe autem per totam longitudinem acuminato-triangulari-dentatis, nervis conspicuis. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae 3-4 mm longae acutae ferrugineae scariosae; sepala 3 ovata 6-9 mm longa subacuta glabra; stamina c. 40, antheris c. 1.4 mm, filamentis 4-7 mm longis.
