Folia simplicia; vagina amplectens 8-13 mm longa ferrugineo-viridis, marginibus scariosis ± rubiginosis, stipulis 1.5-3 mm longis acutis vel obtusis glabris vel breviter ciliatis; lamina linearis-lineari-lanceolata 4-6 cm longa 2-3 mm lata acuta integerrima vel minutissime denticulata glabra; lamina foliorum caulinorum fugacia. Flores [male] rudimento pistilli instructi vel eo carentes; evento illo stylus c. 0.5 mm longus et pedicellus a receptaculo formatus c. 2 mm longus; hoc evento pedicellus c. 5 mm longus pilis densis erecto-patentibus hispidis praeditus; bracteolae amplectentes c. 15 mm longae lineares acutae subcarinatae, nervo mediano pilis erecto-patentibus hispido; sepala 3 c. 10 mm longa 4 mm lata oblonga acuta glabra; stamina c. 20, antheris 1.2-1.5 mm, filamentis 5-8 mm longis. Flores [female] ignoti.

Flowers: male: pedicel ± 8 mm long, densely hairy, bracteoles densely hairy, situated 1.5 mm apart on pedicel, stamens ± 20; female: pedicel 1.6 mm long with half that length above upper bracteole, receptacle 2.6 mm long, ovoid, irregularly ribbed.
