Characteristics

Fruticulus c. 0.5 in altus. Rami et ramuli in partibus junioribus brevissime floccoso-pilosi, canescentes, in partibus vetustioribus cortice cinereo lamellatim soIuto obtecti; internodia (2-)3-6 mm longa. Folia 3-foliolala: vagina 0.5-0.7 mm longa glabra vel primo albo-pilosa breviter ciliolata amplectens; stipulae brevissimae saepe lantum 0.2-0.3 mm longae subulatae vel vix apartae; foliola 2-2.5 mm longa crassa pro maxima parte nerve mediano et nervis lateralibus sub apice exeuntibus expleta; foliolum medium cuneatum apice dentibus obtusis brevibus 3 vel 4 vel saepe 5 praeditum; foliola lateralia angustiora plerumque 3-dentata. Flores [male] sessiles: bracteolae 0.2-0.4 mm longae acuminatae; sepala 4 c. 3 mm longa 1-1.2 mm lata oblongo-ovata acuta tenuia; stamina 4, filamenta filiformia c. 3 mm longa, antherae atropurpureae ovoideae c. 0.5 mm longae. Flores [female] sessiles; sepala 4 triangulari-oblonga 0.6-0.8 mm longa acuta: stigma 0.3 mm e receptaculo prominens dense ramosum penicilliforme purpureum.
