Characteristics

Frutex ad 60 cm altus (e Schlechter) ramosus erectus. Rami et ramuli canescenti-villosi paulatim glabrescentes; ramuli abbreviati 0.5-1.5 cm longi vaginis foliorum inclusi. Folia simplicia; vagina amplectens dense canescenti-villosa 1.5-2.5 mm longa, stipulis triangularibus acutis ciliatis; lamina cordato-ovata c. 4 mm longa et lata subacuta integerrima vel utroque latere sub apice dente parvo munita utrinque canescenti-villosa ciliata. Flores [male] sessiles vel brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae amplectentes 3.5-4 mm longae acutae dense pilosae et ciliatae; sepala 3 c. 4 mm longa ad 3/5 longitudinis cohaerentia subacuta, apicibus cernuis, chartacea extus sub apice pilosa; stamina 6, antheris 0.6-0.8 mm, filamentis 4.5-5 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles vel brevissime pedicellati, bracteolis fere ut in [male]; receptaculum obovoideum c. 1 mm longum 0.6 mm crassum laeve enervosum glabrum; sepala 4 (semper?) 2.5-3 mm longa ad dimidium longitudinis cohaerentia acuta extus sub apice pilosa; stigma c. 2 mm e receptaculo prominens.
