Characteristics

Frutex 1-2-pedalis (e Bodkin) erectus adscendens vel decumbens. Rami et ramuli ferruginei-aurantiaci nitentes, internodiis 1-4 cm longis. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens, stipulis petiolo ad 3/4 longitudinis adnatis acutis membranaceis glabris; pars libera petioli ad 15 mm longa; foliola supra viridia subtus glaucescentia nunc cuneato-lanceolata-lanceolata 2-4 cm longa 0.5-1.5 cm lata, margine regulariter dentato piano, nunc linearia-lineari-lanceolata 1-2 cm longa 0.1-0.5 cm lata, margine irregulariter denticulato vel integerrimo ± revoluto, apice 3-dentato vel integro et acuto. Flores [male] pedicellati, pedicellis 2-4 cm longis; bracteolae 3-5 mm longae amplectentes carinatae acutae glabrae; sepala 3 lanceolata 7-12 mm longa mucronulata glabra; stamina c. 50, antheris luteis 0.8-1 mm, filamentis 4-8 mm longis. Flores [female] pedicellis et bracteolis ut in [male] praediti; sepala 3 lineari-lanceolata 3.3-4 mm longa carinata acuta; stigma 8-10 mm e receptaculo prominens fulvum.
