Characteristics

Fruticulus 1-2-pedalis (e Bolus). Rami graciles cortice fusco-rubiginoso laevi nitido piloso praediti, pilis longis sparsis ad nodes et partes juniores den-sioribus; ramuli filiformes saepe arcuati. Folia simplicia; vagina amplectens brevis scariosa longe pilosa, stipulis triangularibus acutis; lamina foliorum ramealium 2-4 cm longa 1.7-3.5 cm lata ovata basi cordata tenuis, margine cuspidato-crenato, supra viridis sparse et longe pilosa subtus glaucescens, nervis densius pilosis; lamina folii ramulorum floriferorum 5-12 mm diam. fere orbiculata, Flores in axillis foliorum singulares; flores [male] brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae ovato-triangulares 2-2.5 mm longae scariosae longe ciliatae; sepala 3 c. 3.5 mm longa triangulari-ovata, apice recurvato, extus longe canescenti-pilosa; stamina c. 20, antheris 0.8 mm, filamentis 3-4 mm longis. Flores [female] brevissime pedicellati: bracteolae 2.5-3 mm longae ceterum ut in [male]; receptaculum c. 2 mm longum 1.5 mm crassum ovoideum laeve glabrum; sepala 3 triangulari-oblonga 1.2-1.5 mm longa, apice recurvato, parte superiore extus canescenti-pilosa.
