Characteristics

Frutex 1-1.5 m altus. Rami erecto-patentes in partibus junioribus dense et saepissime adpresse canescenti-pilosi; ramuli abbreviati 3-6 mm longi densissime foliati vaginis foliorum inclusi. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens 2-2.5 mm longa tricostata extus canescenti-pilosa ciliata scariosa, stipulis c. 1 mm longis triangularibus acutis parce pilosis vel glabris; foliola 4-8 mm longa 0.5-1 mm lata linearia pungenti-mucronata adpresse pilosa-prope glabra, marginibus revolutis parte ventrali folioli obtegentibus. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 4 mm longae lineares acutae densissime pilosae, pilis arrectis; sepala 3 oblongo-lanceolata 4-4.5 mm longa 2-2.3 mm lata acuta glabra, basibus breviter connatis; stamina 6, antheris 1 mm, filamentis 7 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles, bracteolis ut in [male]; receptaculum 2-2.2 mm longum 1.2 mm crassum obovoideum, basi angustata, fuscum 12-nervosum glabrum nitidulum; sepala 3 linearia 1 mm longa erecta decidua acuta glabra; stigma e receptaculo c. 8 mm prominens ramosum rubiginosum.
