Frutex c. 1 m altus; rami et ramuli erecto-patentes rubiginosi glabri nitidi internodiis 0.5-1 cm longis praediti; ramuli abbreviati 0.4-1 cm longi densissime foliati. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina 0.4-0.8 mm longa amplectens glabra, stipulis 0.3-0.5 mm longis acutis; foliola 4-8 mm longa 0.4-0.8 mm crassa subuliformia subteretia recta vel modice curvata mucronulata. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae scariosae 2-2.5 mm longae amplectentes acutae; sepala 6-7 mm longa 2.5-3 mm lata obovato-oblonga glabra, nervo mediano extus sub apice in mucronem excurrente; stamina 15, antheris c. 1 mm, filamentis 7-10 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles; bracteolae fere ut in [male]; receptaculum c. 3 mm longum 3-vel 4-alatum, alis pellucidis nitidulis pallide violaceis glabris; sepala 3 c. 1.5 mm longa erecta glabra, nervo mediano in mucronem brevem excurrente; stigma e receptaculo 8-9 mm prominens valde ramosum densum rubiginosum; achenium c. 2 mm longum fusiforme.
