Characteristics

Fruticulus decumbens 40-50 cm longus. Rami et ramuli graciles filiformes glabri vel saepissime breviter pilosi ferruginei-fusci, internodiis 1-2(-5) cm longis; ramuli abbreviati 2-5(-8)-foliata. Folia simplicia; vagina 1-2 mm longa 3-nervosa ciliata, stipulis 1-1.5 mm longis triangularibus acutis; lamina 2.5-7 mm longa 1.5-4 mm lata obovato-oblonga utrinque parce-dense pilosa apice 3-raro tantum 2-dentato, dentibus anguste triangularibus acutis recurvatis vel revolutis. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 4 mm longae acutae scariosae ciliatae, nervo mediano piloso; sepala 3 oblonga-oblongo-lanceolata 4-4.5 mm longa glabra; stamina 6 raro 7, antheris 0.8-1 mm, filamentis 7-10 mm longis. Flores [female] brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae c. 2 mm longae brevissime ciliolatae nervo mediano pilosulae ceterum glabrae; receptaculum ovoideum basi angustatum 2.5 mm longum glabrum obscure reticulatum; sepala 3 lanceolata 2 mm longa parte dimidia superiore nervi mediani pilosa, apice cernuo;. stigma e receptaculo ad 6 mm prominens rubiginosum.
