Characteristics

Frutex ad 1 m altus. Rami et ramuli dense murino-pilosi; ramidi abbreviati 1-3 mm longi densissime foliati. Folia 3-foliolata; vagina amplectens c. 1 mm longa glabra vel breviter pilosa ciliolata, stipulis c. 0.5 mm longis acutis; foliola inter se similia 5-8(-10) mm longa 0.5 mm crassa subuliformia supra plana subtus convexa acuta glabra, marginibus integerrimis vel scabriusculis. Flores [male] sessiles; bracteolae c. 3 mm longae amplectentes, basibus pilosis, ciliolatae carinatae scariosae; sepala 3, 3.5-4 mm longa 1.5-2 mm lata acuta glabra saepissime 3-nervosa; stamina 12, antheris 0.8-1 mm, filamentis 4-5 mm longis. Flores [female] sessiles, bracteolis ut in [male]; receptaculum 2-2.5 mm longum 1.2-1.6 mm crassum ovoideum-obovoideum nitidum ferrugineum-rubiginosum glabrum tuberculatum, tuberculis semiglobosis densis; sepala 3 c. 1.5 mm longa anguste triangularia acuminata persistentia glabra; achenium 1.5-2 mm longum oblongum; stigma e receptaculo 2.5-3 mm prominens ramosissimum rubiginosum.
