Characteristics

Frutex erectus ramosus. Rami et ramuli rubiginosi glabri nitiduli internodiis 1-1.5 cm longis praediti. Folia simplica; vagina amplectens c. 2 mm longa trinervis, stipulis subulatis 2-3 mm longis; lamina 2-3 cm longa 1.5-4 cm lata cordata-late cordata acuta squarrosa utrinque opaca coriacea, margine dentibus squarrosis-reflexis munito. Flores [male] sessiles vel brevissime pedicellati; bracteolae amplectentes coriaceae glabrae, apice acuminato recurvato; sepala 3 c. 8 mm longa ovata acuta subcoriacea fusca glabra; stamina c. 40, antheris 1.8-2 mm, filamentis 5-7 mm longis. Flores [female] ignoti.
