Paroicous. Epiphyllous or on bark, pale brownish green, up to 36 mm long, sparsely branched. Leaves 0.8-1.8 mm long, 0.6-1.3 mm broad. Hyaline cells bordering the apex in a single row, radially elongate, 12-24 x 30-52 µ, apex of the lobe crenulate or with fimbriate cells. Chlorophyllous cells in the apex about 18 µ, in the centre 18-30 µ at the base up to 20 x 36 µ. Lobule about 2/5 the length of the lobe, keel arched, forming a distinct angle with the lower margin of the lobe, apex of the lobe truncate, in well developed lobules with an up to 3 cells long tooth distally from the less prominent apical tooth. Female organ on apex of a short shoot with a single innovation and 1-2 pairs of male bracts below it. Female bracts smaller than the leaves, oblong, strongly bordered with hyaline cells, lobule large. Perianth obcordate, compressed, convex below and convex above, beak short, conical. Male bracts small, lobule saccate, both lobe and lobule hyaline-bordered.
