Characteristics

Epiphyllous, minute, pale green. Leaves about 1 1/2 mm long. Lobe minute, orbicular, 0.3-0.25 mm long. Lobule cylindric, basal part 0.25 mm long straight, than inflated to a 0.5 mm long sac, after that a 0.7 mm long tube with apex truncate or acute. Cap 0.1 x 0.8 mm. Cells thin walled, trigones absent or small, cells of the lobe 15-18 x 22-29 µ in the sac 19-23 x 25-35 µ. Amphigastria deeply bilobed, lobes divergent, lanceolate. Perianth obconical, 0.7 mm long, apex truncate, with 5 horns 0.2-0.3 mm long. Male inflorescence with 2-3 pairs of bracts in a short branch, each bract with 3 antheridia in the axil.
