Characteristics

Leaves pinnate; petiole up to 4·5 cm. long, densely pilose; leaflets 3–6-jugate, lamina up to 7 × 3·3 cm., lanceolate to narrowly ovate, apex acute to acuminate, margin entire, base rounded or broadly cuneate, pilose on the nerves and veins; petiolule up to 1 mm. long, densely pilose; rhachis densely pilose.

Tree up to 14 m. tall; trunk longitudinally fluted; bark smooth, grey; branches striate with reddish-grey bark, pilose near the apex; lenticels orange.
Fruit c. 1·2 × 1 cm., ovoid, glabrous; pseudaril with 4 arms; endocarp c. 9 × 9 mm., cordiform, smooth with both faces moderately convex.
