Leaves variable, 4-40 mm long; lower leaves ± sessile, oblong to ovate-suborbicular, entire to lobed; upper leaves deeply palmately 3-5-fid, lobes linear; petioles up to 10 mm long. Peduncles 5-45 mm long, 1-flowered; bracteoles ± 2 mm long; pedicels 1-5 mm long. Calyx 4-7 mm long; sepals obovate or the outer oblong. Corolla 12-20 mm long, pale pink or white. Flowering time Nov.-Mar. Fruit a globose capsule, ± 6 mm wide. Seeds scabrid to muriculate, ± 4 mm long.
