Characteristics

Leaf broadly cordate to orbicular, 25–45 × 30–42 mm, green above, silvery green beneath. Flower erect, 18–25 × 12–13 mm, dorsal sepal greyish green with purple markings, labellum reddish purple with pinkish green or translucent areas, pale marginal band and streaks often prominent. Dorsal sepal obovate, 20–22 × 9–11 mm, concave, curved forwards and capping labellum top. Lateral sepals c. 5 × 0.3 mm. Petals c. 3 × 0.3 mm. Labellum lamina ovate, 12–15 × 12–15 mm; basal tube 5–6 mm long, auricles hidden by labellum; boss inconspicuous, flattish, greyish white to purplish, apex flat to shallowly notched; margins shallowly to strongly incurved with c. 10 pairs of irregular coarse short teeth.
