Characteristics

Leaf cordate to round, 20–35 × 20–35 mm, bright green above, silvery green beneath. Flower erect, 10–15 × 7–10 mm, translucent greenish, heavily mottled and blotched with dark red. Dorsal sepal spathulate, 16–18 × 5–7 mm, curved forwards over labellum. Lateral sepals c. 5 × 0.5 mm, greenish. Petals c. 3.5 × 0.5 mm. Labellum lamina elliptic, 8–11 × 7–9 mm, dark red with transparent areas, surface with a few small papillae; basal tube 4.5–5 mm long, auricles hidden by labellum; boss inconspicuous, mounded, greenish-white, upper surface corrugated; margins shallowly incurved with 4–7 pairs of short blunt teeth.
