Characteristics

Leaf cordate to round, 22–38 × 17–30 mm, bluish green above with 3–5 lighter veins; purplish beneath. Flower strongly nodding, 12–14 mm long, reddish to light reddish purple, on stalk c. 13 mm long. Dorsal sepal 11–13 × 4.5–6 mm, shorter than labellum, with basal claw c. 3 mm long. Lateral sepals and petals c. 5 mm long. Labellum 12–14 mm long, tubular with a projecting lower beak and numerous short red bristles around orifice. Calli clustered along mid-line.
